*GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:

Meatball is a lovable, classic bulldog with a stubborn streak and a big heart. He’s extremely food motivated and starts each morning and evening with an enthusiastic hop through the kitchen at mealtime. His favorite place to relax is on the couch — and more specifically, on top of his person. Anyone considering Meatball should be comfortable with dogs on the furniture and ready for plenty of close-contact cuddles.

He thrives around people and enjoys the company of other dogs. During the workday, he typically sleeps at his foster mom’s feet, and when he’s not there, he’s curled up next to one of the resident dogs. At night, Meatball sleeps in his own room and settles in easily, sleeping through the night without issue.

Meatball does occasionally attempt to hump, but he responds well to gentle redirection from both humans and other dogs. He requires daily eye medication, but otherwise he is a sturdy, healthy boy with an easygoing temperament. He shows no signs of food aggression.
