*GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:
Tink had her vet visit this week, and the list of things we need to tackle is a long one. This sweet girl has a rectal polyp that will need to be removed when she is spayed. She also needs entropion surgery. She has alopecia, a cauliflower-like mass on her ear from what appears to have been an old hematoma, a UTI, hookworms, and, if that wasn’t enough, she also tested HEARTWORM POSITIVE.
Despite everything she has been through, Tink has remained the sweetest, happiest little girl. On Monday, we begin her heartworm treatment and the start of what will be a long medical journey. Please keep Tink in your thoughts as she takes on each hurdle one step at a time. We know brighter days are ahead for this special girl.
