Meet Ziggy, a remarkable 10-year-old English Bulldog whose story is a powerful testament to resilience and hope. After years without proper veterinary care, Ziggy came into rescue in heartbreaking condition—yet through it all, he has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of love. He is currently receiving treatment for severe chronic skin disease, dry eye (KCS), arthritis, and a previously diagnosed tick-borne illness, and is now on a comprehensive care plan to manage pain, fight infection, and improve his overall comfort. Recently, Ziggy gave his foster family a scare when he required emergency care, and further evaluations by specialists revealed a mass near his heart. He has since begun chemotherapy and will continue undergoing regular monitoring to assess his response to treatment. Despite these challenges, Ziggy’s spirit remains strong. As a senior dog, he deserves a peaceful, compassionate home where he can continue to heal and finally experience the care and comfort he’s always deserved.
